We can’t think of enough great things to say about Jessica. Right from our first email we knew she was the photographer for us. Her personality shone through even in our initial communications and she was a joy to work with from start to finish. Our engagement session blew us away- her willingness to embrace a quirky setting and our personalities and the way she set us at ease made us look forward to having her photograph our wedding even more. The shots she captured at our wedding were stunning. Natural, candid, joyful… She was a complete hit with every single family member and wedding guest. We wish we had an excuse to work with her again!

Still the best
Jessie was our photographer at our wedding in May 2016. I'm returning now to write another review because since then, I've been in several weddings as a groomsman or best man and every time I think to myself, wow -- none of these photographers are nearly as good as Bird on a Wire! She's still the best wedding photographer I've ever seen in action -- the best at natural poses, at capturing the moments that matter and not missing a thing, at getting real smiles where nothing feels forced, at producing an end product that everyone is happy with. We're still so happy we went with Bird on a Wire.

Jessica is AMAZING at what she does but is also just a genuinely kind human being. Despite all the changes that 2020 has brought (hello year of uncertainty) Jessica has been so adaptive and understanding, and has honestly gone above and beyond how any of our other wedding vendors treated us during this time. Our elopement pictures are something we will always treasure and we definitely plan to work with her to document our future memories. Cannot recommend her enough!

I highly recommend Bird on a Wire! Jessica booked our elopement ceremony fairly last minute after our original photographer bailed (which was truly a blessing in disguise) It was easy to tell from our first email conversation that Jessica really cares about creating a personalized experience for the couple. She was flexible and responsive throughout the process. For a couple who doesn't love being in front of the camera, Jessica made wedding photography natural and really fun! I am blown away by how beautiful the photos turned out. Jessica did a fantastic job at capturing our day and it is so much fun to relive it through our pictures. My husband and I cannot thank Jessica enough!

I don't even know where to begin. My husband and I were fortunate enough to have met Jess back in June of 2015. We were newly engaged and looking for a local photographer to capture this most special time in our lives. We found Jess, and with that, found so much more than we were looking for! Jess has an infectious personality along with her natural ability behind the camera. And her work speaks for itself. From the moment I laid eyes on her website, I knew BIRD ON A WIRE was "the one"! We have since been lucky enough to have Jess capture our engagement, wedding, baby shower, maternity session, and family session. We look back at all of the photos often, and can't begin to thank Jess enough for the work that she does. A recent message I sent to Jess after she told me a sneak peek was coming for our family photos: "I feel like getting a BIRD ON A WIRE sneak peek is like the adult equivalent of a kid on Christmas morning." Returning Review
I cannot begin to express how much Jess and her photography means to our family! We first met Jess during our engagement photo shoot, followed by our wedding, and have since had numerous portrait sessions after the births of our two children. She captures our personalities and our family dynamic so well, and every session is such a joy. I feel so lucky to have found BIRD ON A WIRE PHOTOGRAPHY as I am able to look back on the most special moments in my life captured with such thoughtfulness and talent by Jess. We have since moved out of the area but have made it a point to head back for a family session, and will be doing so again and again. Thank you, Jess!

Jess from Bird on a Wire Photography is an amazing gem. A truly rare find. We honestly cannot say enough about how much we cherish the memories she has captured for us, first at our wedding, and secondly our first photos done as a family of three. She has an eye for unique detail and light. She is also a pleasure to work with. She is very down to earth and knows how to make you feel at ease in front of the camera. You will end up with so many pictures that you love, you won’t have enough frames to put them in!

Our experience with Jess was nothing short of spectacular. You can tell she is very passionate about her job and puts a lot of effort into making you happy. She took the time to go above and beyond to learn who we are as a couple and what our interests are before shooting our wedding. Then, she tied that all together on our big day. She combined our life style into her style of photography and nailed it! We also didn’t have a wedding planner and Jess stepped in to make sure everything ran smoothly and kept us on schedule for the day. She truly helped make our wedding day be stress-free. To be honest, before our wedding I didn’t care too much about the photography aspect of things. I thought It was too much money and I really didn’t care much about the photos. Years later- looking back on it, I’m so glad we hired Jess to take our pictures. They came out absolutely amazing and they were beyond worth it. We cannot recommend Bird On A Wire Photography enough!
